Sexist feminists?

Right, this topic has always been a pretty simple deal to me - don't treat me any differently just because I'm female.

I don't believe that men should be treated like shit for hitting a woman, I believe they should be treated like shit because they hit someone, regardless of gender. I were a guy and a woman beat the hell out of me, I should have every right to hit her back to get her away from me and defend myself. I don't condone hitting unless it's necessary for self-defence. I hate seeing the phrase 'woman beater' etc; why is the person's gender being pointed out?

If someone hit someone else who is physically incapable of defending themselves, that's when there should be cause for public outrage because that's disgusting, nevermind the fact that beating someone up is horrific in the first place.

I am exactly the same way when it comes to any typical gender role:

I don't think that it's a man's duty to pay for a date.

I don't think it's a man's duty to do ANYTHING because of gender.

I don't even think that clothes should be gendered, because what harm is it doing to have a man wear a dress or a skirt? Why is a woman allowed to dress in a 'masculine' fashion, yet if a guy dresses femininely, it's strange?

Double standards, society.
